Manaslu Circuit trek difficulty 

Manaslu Circuit trek is graded as a moderately difficult trek. Out of difficulty level ten, Manaslu has been rated six. 10 is the most difficult trial which can only be done by experienced hikers and one is the trial which is done by people who have a very low level of physical fitness. And easy trek to Manaslu trek is only possible when you have some high-altitude trekking experience and at least 2 to 3 months of physical exercise before the trek. You cannot just expect to book your flight to Nepal and head for the Manaslu Mountain in a single attempt. Remember that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and it’s worth investing 2 to 3 months of your time for the preparation of the Manaslu circuit Trek. 

Manaslu Circuit trek duration

The most recommended Manaslu Circuit trek itinerary is almost 13 days old. As per this itinerary, you will be driving for two days and resting at the same place for two nights. This means you will be hiking for a total of 9 days. In nine days, you will cover a distance of about 130 km, strolling through the Village of Nepal. In the lower region, you will work for 6 to 7 hours each day and one you get to the higher Alpine region, the hiking duration is reduced to about four hours each day. Hiking for four hours slowly is not a big deal At a normal altitude. But as you hike in the low oxygen in the higher altitude things might be challenging. 

Manaslu Circuit trek altitude 

The highest altitude during the Manaslu Circuit trek is 4300 m. When you get to the Manaslu base camp, you might get up to 4800 m but you can choose this skip this part of the trek. Although 4300 meters is quite low in comparison to another high altitude trek as the Everest base camp trek that takes you to 5300 m above sea level, it is still quite challenging attitude. You will be spending almost 1 week at an altitude beyond 3000 m in the villages near the Tibetan border of Nepal. And at this level, the oxygen is almost half in comparison to that at the sea. So, it’s important that you keep yourself completely hydrated and well-rested. If you have any symptoms of altitude sickness, it’s important to pause your trek for a few days or fly back to the lower altitude.
